A memory from the past

I was sitting in a local coffee shop here in Finland, obviously drinking coffee. Happens that a politician, who actually was a minister, came to give a speech.

This politician’s (let’s keep him anonymous) was responsible of work and industry sector. He was talking about basic stuff like what was up in the media that times. Nothing too much new or special.

But as he was responsible of the work and industry field and he started to talk about the local situation. He said there in that geographical area people were lucky because close by there is a factory producing military vehicles. When I think of military equipment I understand that they are, in the end, used to eliminate, to kill people.

When I combine those two claims I ended up to this result; We are lucky because we have jobs, work, to produce military equipment which are used to kill other people.

My question is; Will we be lucky in the end this way?

Have a nice day!
