What a chain?

In Finland drugs are forbidden. Like all from the normal ones. You can decide what they are. Alcohol is not forbidden. It is sold by goverment’s monopol business Alko. It is only legal to produce wines, beers and such a soft drinks. Stronger than those one is not allowed to produce, not even for personal use. One can buy them only from Alko.

Of course medicines are legal, after one gets a prescription from a doctor. That’s another story I will write about later.

What happens when the laws are strict and only alcohol is legal?

I tell you a true story from today. We go to buy booze from Alko, we have it infront of our town hall, we have it a lot because everything else is forbidden because the goverment says so, then we get really super drunk. Then the goverment officers come to pick us up and take them into their place. To get sober and as the reality many times is, then we repeat because alcohol is causing a very strong addiction!

I say that’s one hell of a piece of chain!

Go out and enjoy your drinks! The sun is shining!
